Through our PAWS education program (Proper food, Attention, Water, and Shelter), we will come to your school, library or facility with one of our four legged friends and speak about such topics as the proper care of our companion pets, the proper way to approach a new animal and/or how to become a better animal advocate. Specialty tailored programs that enable school children to help the animals of the DCSPCA can also be arranged.
All of our educational programs stress early intervention and primary prevention as an important informational tool in both the prevention of cruelty to animals and teaching respect for all forms of life.
